This tour offers you wonderful time exploring a network of 200km long underground tunnels which was used during the Vietnam - USA war. After lunch we come back to Ho Chi Minh City and enjoy amazing bustling streets, fantastic restaurants and whitewashed trees. This fascinating city is perfect for days of sightseeing, afternoons of shopping and evenings of enjoying a sunset drink on a roof-top bar.
After pick-up at your hotel, visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, located 60km from Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role during the American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its network of tunnels, which extend over 220km, and is a popular destination for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. This is an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapon shops, field hospitals, command centers. During the American War the entire area of Cu Chi was designated a fire free zone and was heavily bombarded. From 1988, two sections of the tunnels have been open for visitors. Back to your hotel after 4 hour tour. After lunch, visit the War Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market for shopping.
