GENERAL INFORMATION
Only citizens of certain countries can visit Vietnam without an Entry Visa (valid for visit within 30 days), specifically as follows:
- Not more than 30 days: for citizens of Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Laos.
- Not more than 15 days: for citizens of Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland.
- French citizens holding valid diplomatic passports are exempt from visa requirements when visiting
Vietnam and are allowed to stay for up 3 months at one time or on several visits within six months since their first immigration dates.
- Citizens of Chile holding valid diplomatic or official passports are exempt from needing entry, exit and transit visas in Vietnam's territory and are allowed to stay for up 60 days on each visit.
- Citizens from all other countries are required to get an Entry Visa before departure or a pre-approved Entry Visa (issued on arrival at Vietnam's International Airports) supplied before arrival in Vietnam.
HOW TO GET VISA TO VIETNAM
I. By yourself
Apply by yourself at the embassy or consulate of Vietnam in your country or to any one of the Vietnam embassies and consulates around the world. Please click here to see address of Vietnam in worldwide.
Required documentations: you have to submit: passport of six months validity, visa application forms, and probably some others required by Vietnamese embassy or consulates in your country. Visa forms are available by getting directly or by mail with a stamped, self-addressed envelope addressed to their Visa section. Request by email is perhaps acceptable (in some cases).

Time: processing tourist visa application typically takes four or five working days.
Cost: fees vary from embassy to embassy; about $50 in Bangkok and $85 in Washington, for example.

1. Visa on arrival
Vietnam Visa on arrival is the visa applied for those who travel by air to Vietnam only, and will get their visa stamped onto their passport at the immigration check-in when arriving at the Vietnam International Airport. 2. Visa approval code
Visa Approval Code is the code to be given to Vietnam visa applicants for them to base on it to get the Vietnam visa stamped onto their passport at the Vietnam Embassy/Consulate in their country. This means those applicants will get their visa before travelling to Vietnam.
Our Service fees below do not include the STAMPING FEE of about US$25-65/pp to be submitted. Directly to the Embassy or Consulate (the stamping fee vary from Embassy to Embassy).

II. How it worksAfter receiving your information and payment (will be advised upon receipt of your information), we will process the visa immediately. You can expect the process to take 2 to 4 working days, and in urgent cases, only 1 to 2 working days.
1. Visa on Arrival:
After approval, we will fax or email you a copy of the Approval letter as an attachment. Please remember to bring at least 2 photos of passport regulation size (2in x 2in, or 5.08 cm x 5.08 cm)
2. Approval Code Visa:
After approval, we will fax or email you a copy of the Approval letter with code as an attachment. You will then have to proceed to the Vietnam Embassy or Consulate to obtain your visa.
